Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is a play about a fictive conflict on one Sakhalin islands; a conflict into a global crisis threatens to expand. The player takes over the role of an US soldier who fights as a part of allied forces against numerical überlegene Chinese forces. The play concentrates upon a campaign which allows to play the player different roles in the allied forces. The weapons, equipment and military tactics are shown with an unbelievable detailed loyalty. The play course varies between intensive gun battles and quieter phases in which one must meet the right tactical decisions to reach his mission purpose. The complete campaign is playable as 4Spieler-Koop and is extended by a multi player mode.
